Happy Halloween!

We had a very happy Halloween! Jacob was a horse, and Bryon and I accompanied him trick-or-treating as a cowgirl and cowboy (the hats came in handy when it rained on us). Leila was a squid, which doesn't really go along with the whole Western theme, but that's the costume we could find for her! Jacob got way more candy than any two-year-old should have (aw, darn. We'll just have to help him out with that one!), but he thought it was great.

We went to a Halloween party Saturday night with my high school friends, but unfortunately forgot the camera, so there's no photographic evidence. April and Jason Miller hosted it, though,
and it was a ton of fun.

Jacob the horse. He kind of looks like a chipmunk here. Hmm...

The cutest squid I've ever seen.

The aftermath of Halloween. Yep, that's chocolate. Ah, what good parents we are.

That squid costume is a riot! Jason ate all of Lizzy's candy, except for a pack of M&M's, which she ate.
I have never seen a squid costume before. That is really funny. She looked great in it, and y'all looked good too. Rich and I don't ever dress up, so I am always impressed when someone else does. I am lucky to get my kids costumes done. I don't think that I would have time to come up with something for Richard and me!
Definately the cutest squid I have EVER seen! I love your kids. Also.. I am such a dork of a friend! Happy Be-lated Birthday!!! (Why do I have such a hard time remembering birthdays!?) Anyhow, sounds like you had fun! :)
Too cute! I've never seen the squid costume. You guys look like your doing great! Love ya!
Ha! I love the squid! So cute! I'm also glad that you posted pictures from your birthday because I wasn't there with you, but just remember, I made the day complete. :)
I love the squid! It's too cute for words...and I LOVE the proof of the chocolate afterwards! You are exactly the type of parents that we all are. We all swear our kids aren't going to love candy as much as we did!
